Before joining Pampa as a partner, he advised Pampa through LatinAgri Consulting, the agribusiness advisory firm he founded, in developing Pampa’s pipeline and evaluating several potential agribusiness investments.

Mr. Potocnik worked for 23 years in Monsanto Company, from 1980 until 2003, when he retired as Marketing & Strategy Director for Latin America, as well as Board Member at Monsanto Argentina. During his tenure with Monsanto, Mr. Potocnik held several executive positions worldwide, such as Roundup International Director, Commercial Director of Monsanto Crop Protection Business Unit for the Latin America South Area; Product Manager for Mexico & Central America and Marketing Manager for Southern Europe & Middle East Region.

Mr. Potocnik is also founder and partner of Lipa Hue, a farming Co. focused to the adding value of specialty crops like buckwheat.

Miguel holds a B.S. degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
