Dr. Fernandez was asked to join Pampa in 2007 in order to outline and build a proprietary hybrid seed business in Argentina and Brazil. Prior to joining Pampa, he worked as geneticist and R&D Director in Dekalb Argentina. In 2001 he was appointed Sorghum & Sunflower Breeding Global Lead and R&D Director for Monsanto Argentina.

He was also a professor of Genetics in the Buenos Aires University.

Aníbal holds a B.S. degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de la Plata and a Master in Genetics from IICA and Texas University/UNLP.
